Time to clean out the Sunscreen Drawer!
Coming from a fair-skinned family, sunscreen is a year-round must have in our house. A few weeks ago, I started looking through our stash of sunscreens in preparation for vacation and was surprised to see how many of the brands contained oxybenzone or parabens. Both oxybenzone and parabens are potential hormone disrupting chemicals. Out went the old standby sunscreens to be replaced by natural or physical sunscreens - those containing zinc oxcide as a primary ingredient.
